SYMPHONY X Bassist To Guest On STYGIA Debut

June 3, 2008

STYGIA mainman/guitarist Todd Seitz has issued the following update:

"Michael LePond of SYMPHONY X will now be recording bass tracks on the upcoming STYGIA album. I'm sure his contribution to the album will be outstanding as he is part of the best progressive metal band in the business. I'm very lucky to have him take part in the debut album of STYGIA.

"Chris McCarvill [who was originally supposed to play bass on the album] is to be on an important tour this summer that I believe is still unannounced to the public. I still hope to work with Chris on future STYGIA material and live shows."

STYGIA's recording lineup is completed by John Macaluso) (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ARK, TNT),Michael Vescera (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, LOUDNESS) on vocals and Mats Olausson (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) on keyboards.

According to Seitz, the CD will feature eight tracks for a running time of around 60 minutes.

The band intends to do some live performances after the LP release.
